What is Assembly?

Assembly component is a collection of the two or more symbols. Some times it is required to make a assembly component.

How to create Assembly in database?

To make an assembly component we have to

right click on any of the folder in the database window and then

click on new component.

⇓⇓

After that we have to select the type of the component as Assembly

⇓⇓

click next and next and at last finish.

⇓⇓

After that we have to drag and drop the symbols in the page.

⇓⇓

After that we have to go to assembly in it’s component properties.

⇓⇓

Then tick on component is the master of the assembly

(if you want to make the component as the master of the assembly)

⇓⇓

Then select the other one and go to its component properties

⇓⇓

then tick on inherit device designation from assembly then apply and ok.

After that save it to database and then stop database editor mode. Now the assembly component is ready.
